SUNRISE IS MAGICAL: There is something extraordinary about welcoming a new day at first light. No matter how many sunrises one has seen, the peace and serenity of a beautiful sunrise never disappoints.

BEAUTIFUL LIGHT: The early morning light is soft and lovely and lends itself well to beautiful portraiture. It tends to be cooler, giving rise to more pink and blue hues rather than the familiar yellow and orange tones common during sunset.

COOL TEMPERATURES: The temperature of the air is cooler, rendering a much more comfortable client experience.

LESS CROWDED: There are far fewer people out and about at sunrise, eliminating many of the constraints & distractions frequently experienced during popular but crowded sunset hours.

Most parents are surprised by how well sunrise works for young children. They're rested, the beach is quiet, and there are far fewer distractions. Instead of asking your children to sit still and smile, I use movement and play to create genuine moments.
